Guide to visiting Ba Na Hills Vietnam: Just a 20-km drive from Da Nang, I found Ba Na Hills – one of those destinations that you either love or hate the moment you lay eyes on it. The French resort sitting at the top of a mountain in Central Vietnam has always sparked plenty of debate. But for me, it absolutely lived up to the hype. For me, Seville has always had the air of a vintage postcard. Tallest palms I have ever seen, Mediterranean wildflowers scattered at their feet, quirky fine art, colorful ceramics and intricate archways of the ancient buildings, plus the guitar melodies floating above the cobblestone streets, make Sevilla one the most romantic cities in Europe. Durable through time, though so delicate.

A day trip to Hoi An from Da Nang in 2025 is one of the most exciting and charming cultural experiences in the whole Vietnam. Hoi An is an extremely colourful and well-preserved historical city, a living-museum only half an hour distance from Da Nang.
